Yeah we were all working at Cheffie's on Sunday. 

There were also about a dozen men playing some form of Chinese Checkers. 

I was too chicken to take their picture. 

Also, mother nature seemed to notice my flu and the weeds and grass were so tall, we almost lost Ernie. I'm about to conquer the backyard.

Remy and I have a guest for the next several week. Meet Ernie! 

Ernest Williams is 7 months old and really sweet. He's giving Remy a shot of youth, for sure!

I want to be really good at entertaining. So I had my MTR family over and made dinner.

Got Remy a new toy. It's a moose. He isn't crazy interested in it yet. 

Also went on Boys Night Out...to sing karaoke. It's blurry (and quite dark), but here's Logan with Bohemian Rhapsody.

Worked a FULL day after returning from Nashvegas. 

Went to Walmart with my Co-teacher, Danielle. 

Went into the bathroom and saw this...

yes, it is a child seat with a safety belt in the walmart restroom.

5 am workout with Ho-Sang (like old times) 

And then, I MET RICHARD BARTH!!!!! He even gave me a hug at the Gala. 

Today's Big Goal was accomplished.

So...I found a cozy nook to get some work done. And then I found myself among the rock-star AMAZING movers and shakers of KIPP National. 

yeah, that's the backside of Richard Barth (husband to TFA Wendy Cobb, fyi).

i had a better shot, but he moved. i wanted to ask him to take a picture but chickened out. 

and she, amazing friends, is Doris Fischer - the founder of The Gap

-as in clothing stores-

HUGE givers to KIPP and just an amazing woman. 

p.s. as of right now, i will begin using better words than "amazing" since i use it way too much :)

it was a catfish place. (??)

Sick as a dog,

my head is full of snot.

so many decisions,

it ties my brain in a knot. 

a "flu-like virus" is what the doc said,

alls i know is it feels real, real bad. 

but at least i have remy to comfort me,

what better than a boo to keep you company?

My babies took home second place.

The fifth graders were amazing. They deserved the win.

I got a little emotional and excited at their awesomeness.
